As two mothers navigating life with children on the autism spectrum, we struggled to find ABA therapy services that truly supported our kids—not just as patients, but as whole people. Most programs felt cold, clinical, and disconnected from the real lives we were living. We wanted something better—for our children and for other families searching for autism therapy in Northern Virginia. We created Roots to Bloom to be different: a place where autism therapy meets the child where they are—whether that’s in their home, school, or community. We combine the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a play-based, naturalistic approach that honors each child’s uniqueness and involves the entire family in the process. Roots to Bloom is a team of passionate behavior therapists, parents, and advocates offering in-home ABA therapy that’s personal, flexible, and effective. We proudly serve families across Fairfax County and Loudoun County, Virginia, helping children with autism build meaningful skills through compassionate care rooted in lived experience.
