Music Therapy (Accepting New Clients)
- Individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injury (SCI) use music therapy to address the sensori-motor, communication, cognitive, and social-emotional aspects of TBI and SCI. HOW MUSIC THERAPY IS USED: Music works uniquely in the brain to support rehabilitation. Through songwriting, musical improvisation, lyric discussion, and re-creating familiar songs, a board certified music therapist assists individuals with various needs to achieve rehabilitation in key areas related to cognitive, motor, communication, social, and emotional needs. Clients do NOT need to be musicians.
